I called Roland to enquire but they explained that there are not supporting this kit anymore as it has been discontinued. What will happen is that when you plug the USB into your mac, there will be no response from you Mac. You will find that once you upgrade your operating system to the latest OSX (Yosemite / ElCapitan etc), you Mac will fail to recognise the device. If you have a Roland Edirol UA1000 that was previously running on OSX without any issues.
